Tigan has worked in the public sector for 17 years in various information, governance and regulatory compliance roles. Currently an Information Governance Manager with Food Standards Scotland, Tigan’s areas of expertise include information security, data protection, project management and knowledge and information management. Tigan holds a Master of Science Degree in International Trade from Robert Gordon University and a PhD in Entrepreneurship at the same institution. His interests include entrepreneurship research in multiple contexts, innovative and reproducible solutions, knowledge transference, information governance, agile approaches to problem-solving and empowering vulnerable people to live well in their local communities. He is a Board Member of the Grampian Housing Association in Aberdeen.
Othniel Yila, is the Commonwealth National Climate Finance Adviser to Zambia, where he provides strategic and technical support to the government to enhance the capacity to access and manage climate finance.
He has worked in a diverse range of organizations: intergovernmental organization, global think tank, academia, national governments and NGOs and held full time positions in eight countries in the South Pacific, sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. He has contributed towards the development of technical tools and methodologies, and the capacity-building of the LDCs and SIDs to effectively lay the foundation for and implement climate actions.
Othniel holds a PhD in Regional and Rural Development Planning from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) Klong Luang, Thailand and a Masters in Rural Development from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria.
Manji Obadiah earned his degree in General and applied Psychology from the University of Jos in 2008 and worked his earlier career years in the humanities creating equal access to opportunities for marginalized groups. He founded Seyilnan Nigeria Limited (SNL), a real estate company with a focus on providing affordable housing solutions to marginalized groups in urban communities. Manji’s work focuses on creating a nexus between humanities and real estate. He has consulted for over a 100 clients, constructed over 40 homes, managed 4 Estates, developed over 6 acres of land and sold innumerable lands and houses within Abuja, Plateau and Nasarawa states of Nigeria. Manji brings over a decade of experience in real estate to the Kingdom Excellence team.
Dr Kyari Yates has over 16 years’ experience in Environmental Chemistry within the Regulatory, Research and Academic Sector. He holds a BEng degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and a PhD in Environmental Monitoring from the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, UK where he currently is a Principal Lecturer. With research interests in waste management and valorization, environmental monitoring, analytical chemistry and oilfield chemistry, he has published widely, supervised PhD students and provided training to various clients. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Mr. Tuoyo Brikinns is a B.S.c graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan. He also holds an MBA from Imperial College and an MSc in Safety and Reliability Engineering from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Tuoyo has in the past 17 years served in various Consultant positions in the Oil & Gas sector, with responsibilities for Process Safety Engineering, Operations support, Project Execution, Commercial, Client & Stakeholder Management and Strategy Development.
He is the discipline Lead at Kuwait Oil Company. Prior to that, he had served variously as Process Safety Consultant at Tullow oil Ghana, Amec, Wood PLC, Subsea7, and Saipem UK.
Israel is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers, and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, United Kingdom. He obtained a BSc in Civil Engineering (First class) from the University of Lagos. He also obtained an MSc in General Structural Engineering (Distinction) and PhD from Imperial College London. He has 15 years of experience in Civil/Structural Engineering consulting, education and research, and construction management. His working experience spans across the continents of Africa, Asia, and Europe. He is passionate about the provision of affordable construction solutions through the development of alternative and sustainable construction materials. He is involved in various academia-industrial projects focused on transferring and sharing knowledge towards the development of products and enhancement of industrial processes.
